A tour de force on the Israeli music scene BeAlma is quickly becoming one of the most sought after ensembles for live performances. BeAlma means to be present in the world, and true to its name, the group seamlessly weaves together the multiple and mixed musical traditions from across the globe. Led by multi-instrumentalist Nir Motzeri, and professional vocalist and guitarist Dvir Spiegel, Be'Alma is known for its capacity to reach into the soul of the music. With their intuitive knowledge of the inner workings of rhythms and scales, BeAlma taps into the innate capacity of music to elevate the spirit and unify the people.
The band's expertise lies in its virtuosic ability to effortlessly combine Jewish music with the diverse and distinctive styles of Turkish, Greek, Algerian, classical Hindi, Romanian and European Gypsy, Celtic, New World Roots, soul, folk, and bluegrass, along with Afro-latin grooves.
The five piece band is comprised of expert musicians, each individually sought after for their unique and individual talents in their respective musical fields.
